1937 Roamer Pant 11oz metal
Typical work trousers as they were worn in the 1930s in the USA. Characteristic of pants from that time is the wide cut and high waist. This was not a fashion but a needed criteria of denim pants from that era. Because denim pants until the early were 1940s intended as overpants so that the precious wool trousers that were worn underneath were more protected. To be able to put on the pants without problems and also to wear them the fit had to be wide. For better fit the wearer could attach suspenders and there was always an easy way to tighten the pants at the waist. Either by one or two waist tabs.
All these details can be found on our 1937 Roamer Pant. A pant, as the name implies, made for roaming the world and going on adventures. Our 11oz selvage denim is made on old shuttle looms in Turkey. The looms were lovingly restored years ago and are now doing their job again to produce a denim as it was common at the beginning of the last century. A denim that is designed to be durable and robust. A denim that can do everything.
