1947 Trapper Boots brown
Our 1947 Trapper Boots have their origins in the field of American hunting and outdoor actievities. Outdoor activities in the U.S. became popular after World War II.
Innovative garment- and equipment manufacturers responded quickly to the customer demands. Our 1947 Trapper Boots are an example of that era. The boots are a combination of heavy mountain boots with a soft crepe sole for deer-stalking.
The 1947 Trapper Boots are Goodyear welted with a „Norwegian welt“. Norwegian welts are often used for classic mountain boots making the sole stiffer and more water resistant. The tongue is sewn to boot leg to keep out water and insects.
The crepe is made of natural rubber and is undyed. Its softness offers a great comfort whilst walking. The soft sole was originally developed for a silent movement in the forest.
