1963 Polo Shirt Royal Olive
The polo shirt originated in the early 20th century and was originally developed for tennis. In the 1920s, a French tennis player designed a short-sleeved, comfortable shirt made of breathable cotton piqué, which offered more freedom of movement than the traditional long-sleeved shirts of the time. Although it was intended for tennis, it quickly gained popularity in the sport of polo. The polo shirt made its breakthrough into the fashion world in the 1950s, thanks to various Hollywood stars and the rise of the preppy style.
Our 1963 Polo Shirt comes straight from this era and combines casual style with elegance, without losing its athletic roots. The waffle fabric we use is textured and comfortable to wear.
